Your audience is more important than you message. 

Even the best ads fail if they reach the wrong people. Messaging only works when it lands on the right audience. 

Example: 

A local fitness studio ran ads with a great offer. They however targeted the entire city. After segmenting by interest (gym memberships, home workouts, weight loss) conversion rates jumped 3x while ad spend dropped by 40%. 

Takeaway:

Smart segmentation reduces waste ad spend and increases ROI. It's not about reaching more people. It's about reaching the right people.

Audit your last campaign. 

Look at conversion rates by segment- did the right people take action? Adjust targeting based on intent signals. 

Example:

A real estate agent advertised high-end homes but targeted a broad audience. After segmenting by net worth, past searches, and property interests, lead quality improved, and appointment bookings doubled.

Your best customers leave digital signals. Start segmenting based on real-buying behavior, not assumptions.
